Welcome to the 18th Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Diseases (online) meeting
The ongoing SARS-CoV-2 pandemic is having major consequences on our societies. More than ever, we need to combine ecology and evolution to understand the processes that govern the spread of SARS-CoV-2 as well as many other pathogens.
The EEID meetings have always been a great opportunity to interact socially with other scientists working on the epidemiology and evolution of infectious diseases. This is a very special year and this will be a very special meeting. No in person interactions, no banquet, no hike… but we invite you to interact in a virtual environment that consists of two islands: FROMAGE & DESSERT. More about this here.
This virtual environment will allow participants to follow 8 fantastic keynote speakers, to access more than 270 posters, get a taste of the French culture (look for the little presents scattered all over the islands) and to interact (albeit virtually) with the other 900 participants that registered to the conference.
